Basic Scrum and Agile

3-4 February 2021 (online) or
23-24 March 2021 (online)

Will you become a part of an agile team or want to start studying to become an agile leader? This is our basic training that gives you the foundation. We start with a short introduction to Agile and Lean. As many agile teams work according to Scrum or at least some parts of it, we focus on Scrum. This gives you a unified view of a well-known and working framework on the team level.

About the training

The training in Basic Scrum and agile is aimed at leaders, developers and business people who will be part of Scrum teams. The training begins with a review of the agile manifesto which is one of the mainstays of Scrum. Influence from Lean Software Development is added. This creates a basic understanding of the theory behind Scrum. Central parts of the training are the Scrum events, roles and artefacts.  Several practical exercises are held to increase the understanding of Scrum’s principles. The training provides the basics for the certification "Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment" from Scrum.org. To pass the assessment, additional self-studies are required.
